LEAKY GUT SYNDROME and AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES

Leaky gut syndrome happens when due to damage of your gut lining, undigested food particles and toxins are able to cross into your bloodstream through holes on your intestinal barrier.

Leaky gut syndrome may result in digestive problems and autoimmune conditions, such as lupus, Hashimoto’s disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.
